Well, its not my part of the art trade obviously. But I was taking a peek through her gallery, and for some reason, I drew a pairing she is a fan of, Princess Zelda and Ganondorf...odd pairing yes... but then again, I am a Snape/McGonnagall shipper...
SO here is surprise gift art for  ( [link] )This pic was inspired by her piece, but nothing other then it is a right-before-they-kiss piccy ( hers found here [link] ) I placed this in tradtitional art because most of the time was spent on the characters, which were colored by markers and then inked. The rather crappy bg was photoshopped. I was up late last night finishing this piece. I actually redrew the pic and re-inked it. There are problems with the cropping on this one, but originally the pic was just going to have the plain white background, but as things changed, I saw issues that could be improved. However, I do like the marker coloring, and the next one will be photoshopped. As always, i did have issues with the hair, but after all that said, I still like this piece. True, not my best, but far from my worst... Anyways, ScarlettMcKnight, I hope you like this, and sorry its not the art trade you have been waiting for. edf * characters copyrighted to Nintendo * |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 23h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
